Hotel Info: The Duchy of Kalhatty is a nature preserve as large as the principality of Monaco nestling in one of the oldest mountain ranges in the world -The Nilgiris- in South of the Indian subcontinent at an altitude of 2000 meters above sea level, where the climate is salubrious throughout the year. The day is warm and the nights are chill. The temperature varies between 10 to 25 °C. Many endangered species of flora and fauna here are notified by the RSPB. The Resort is set on Tea and Coffee gardens which are organically produced. There are geranium and Rose Mary cultivation which are of interest to planters.
